Gordon is a Senior Advisor and member of the Advisory Board of Origin Merchant Partners and the Founder and Chairman of Black Loon Group, a private mining investment, and financial and strategic advisory business. He has a long career in mining development, mining finance and M&A, first as a geophysicist and engineer, then as a senior investment banker with CIBC, N.M. Rothschild Canada, Newcrest Capital, National Bank Financial, and Gryphon Partners Canada, where he was a Co-Founder and Managing Partner until its acquisition by Standard Chartered Bank.
